Favorite Fridays (on Sunday)

I am finally back from camp...

This past week at camp was a little bitter sweet for me, because though I was happy to be back with my beloved, I had to realize that I'm no longer in "counselor" mode. I'm too old for this. I was by far the oldest counselor there, and though I may go back at a helper in a different context, I won't ever be a counselor again.

After loads of sleep and a nap today, I'm feeling quite refreshed and ready to get back into blogging...

but I'm very disappointed Cara that you didn't even blog once when I was gone! shame on you!

How was the beach with Maddy? How long did our cousins from the north stay?

I think I've become a little bit obsessed with accessories... They're just SOO COOL!

Every Ring is Coming up Roses

How very cool, the only thing that I don't like is the fact that it's not sized... it's a split band that's adjustable.. I guess that can be a blessing though too... since finger sizes change in accordance with the weather and such. I LOVE that the flowers are metal though. That's a classy touch.

Owl You Doin'?

Okay... so at first when I saw these Cara, I was like "how ridiculous is that? I would NEVER wear those!" Then I realized that I TOTALLY would wear them... and they would look awesome with my short hair... and they're owls! LOL!

World's Smallest Lookbook

Even before I saw the name of this necklace, I was thinking... "so it's like a handy guide so that I can know what to wear!"... and apparently that's the point. Someone must have gotten the memo of my need for inspiration. Anyway... it's great. and I love it.

Favorites Friday

So this week has really thrown me for a loop, but one thing we can all count on, is FAVORITE FRIDAYS! Yaaaaaay.

Let me also take this opportunity to offer up some well earned congratulations to my cousin Cara at Oh Mae Gosh! for passing her drivers test and getting her license!!! This is a very exciting time, that first drive with out a parent next to you is really wonderful.

And now on to our normal activities for these end-of-the-week frolics.

 these Ixora Kitten Heels are TO DIE FOR! How cute?!

 The Pave Posts come in four or five different colors, but these are by far my most favorite, because they're like little Disco Balls for your ears!

yes, those are TARDIS earrings!!! I found tons of Doctor Who things on Etsy, and some very cool stuff like these earrings! I would totally wear this babies :-)

I had a ton of fun looking on Etsy today, I don't know how I'm going to blog next week, I'm going to be gone to camp Monday through Saturday and I don't know if laptops are permitted.

Thursday of Thursdays

Hey Cara,

I liked your post about the British pancakes but I'm confused as to why you made them. Curious.
And those bacon buttys? Please elaborate on your reasons for making odd foods.

I have meant to blog about last weekend, because I went to camp and it was great, and then I was going to upload some picture of the HUGE bag of yarn that my parents found for me at a garage sale.
lastly I was going to talk to you about all of the neat earrings I got from my mom (garage sale) and from my sister (estate sale).

I will try to put up pictures before the week is over since I'm leaving Monday for five days.
This week has gone down hill slightly, but I know that it'll be good eventually, I just have to pick myself up from this slump I'm in.

Saturday and Monday...

This is what I get for not blogging for 5 days.

I have a surplus of things and pictures to show you!

What a crazy five days they've been too.

And now onto MONDAY!And it's only fair that you get to see my crazy-but-still-adorable morning hair (it's the only thing that puts a smile on my face in the morning)... since you showed yours 2 weeks ago.

I cleaned my room! NOO, this is the BEFORE picture... it looks WAY better now.

Okay okay, so I know that I look kinda fat in this picture... and prolly look like that all the time that I wear this shirt, but it's so comfortable and nice to not have to suck in my tummy all day. I love to wear it. and look at what a great bright color it is! It rocks.

Then on Monday night, my dad supprised me and took me to get my ears pierced, where I nearly fainted.

But now I'm sooo happy that I did!

I'm sure I've mentioned before how I was sad that I couldn't wear earings. Well now I'll be able to! Finally!

Mocha N Music

 Then my cousin from Oh Mae Gosh showed up!

After a long discussion of which of us would win in a battle of Hufflepuff (me) vs. Slytherin (Cara)

I found some Checkers so that we could play.

Unfortunately though, neither of us could remember how to play.

HONESLY!

I had to look at the box cover to figure it out,

 because (IDK why) they didn't have directions in the box!

 It doesn't matter that neither of us knew the rules... we Chacha'd it and this is us after 15 minutes.

I was winning! hehehe, and she wasn't happy.

 Not long after, I totally dominated and took home the metaphoric trophy for the Hufflepuff house.

This was my victory "I'm a tough Nerdfighter" pose. :-D

And even though I suck at taking group pictures (I always end up cutting half my head off)... The night ended well and on speaking terms!

I sure had fun with our families there.

Friday on a Wednesday

So on Friday Morning I got a hair cut,

and then because Fridays are "High-Heel Fridays"

I put on this outfit.

My green shoes of awesomeness from Payless,

which I bought about 3 years ago. They have four inch heels so I don't wear them

 that often because they make me 6'2" and it can be awkward.

That was my outfit for the morning!

Lots of fun, I towered over my supervisor Ryan,

it was great.

Favorite Fridays

Fridays should be my "favorite Fridays"... don't you think?
I like that idea... I like to post random things that I find pretty, or interesting... so this is just a way to make that idea more organized.

So here it is:

This is the lovely On The Line dress from Modcloth. What a blue dream! It just looks like it would suck in all of my extra jiggle, and make me look like Jennifer Lopez in that smokin hot dress. I may just have to loose a few pounds in each thigh... but after that, I WOULD LOOK AWESOME!

After that dress... I think that I would need a nice breather... and a bit of modesty thrown in too ;-)

This is the kind of relaxing dress I would need. It's pretty, and calming, and flattering without making me suck in my stomach all the time (or so I would think) it's called The Beach House Barbecue Dress in Hoedown

Now for some Jewelry to go with these lovely dresses, or any outfit that you fancy!

Triple owl ring what?! Yeah, that's right. It's called the Owl In A Row ring... and I just think that it would be harder to buy a ring like this without trying it on, because how do they know that all of your fingers are going to fit it?! IDK, but it sure is cute.

Have you noticed how animals are really fashionable right now? I've seen owls, cats, birds, rabbits, horses, octopus and many many more! It's crazy! But I'm totally on board for this party train.

 And here starts the showing of my "war spoils"... get it? It's the stuff I scored at the fourth of july library book sale... so that's the "spoils" and the "war" is because it was the fourth of july! I'M SO CLEVER!

 This one above is named "The untold story of Elvis' SECRET FBI FILES"  "plus! Elvis' last will and testament revealed for the first time!" "the sealed, top secret FBI file on the king of ROCK-N-ROLL" hehe, I'm excited about that one.
