And now: onto my day!


One of my joys in life is sleeping in.

Today, I did not.

And I am not happy about it.

Although, yesterday I made some wicked plans with a 6 y/o and a 3 y/o for a weekend that they're staying with us, so that adds a nice glow to my day.

Anyway, TODAY
I had to get up early so that we could get 25-30 bales of hay.

Not too bad of a job, because we're getting so few, but it's still pretty unpleasant. Grrrr.

I hope to document my day for you like  you documented your day, but I'm just gonna try to get the highlights of it...  no "morning Lydia" picture for you! hehehehe.

I know that technically it's not the fourth anymore, but my day yesterday was SOO awesome that I couldn't make myself sit still long enough to blog about it!
You guys still get to hear about my long weekend, and how awesome it truly was.

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays of the whole year, and this year was no let-down.

I went to the parade with my family, took candy from the small children around me ;-) and went to a carshow. After that I had a wonderful lunch that I didn't think of committing to film, a two hour nap and off to my cousin's house for supper!

My cousin is Cara, from Oh Mae Gosh! and she's my new blogging buddy.

Cause we're just too cute to keep apart ;-)

Cardigans Are My One Weakness

I can't pass up a good cardigan. I would have bought the one I saw at Love Inc. yesterday because it was yellow striped and 3/4 sleeves, but alas, the shoulders fit oddly, so I did not buy it. It still had tags on from Target!... wait, I can prolly show you which on it was...nope, couldn't find it. Oh well.

Modcloth however, has some real humdingers when it comes to cardigans.
