Favorites Fridays

Shoes.

How much better could it get?

I used to not appreciate shoes like I do now. 

 For one: I used to really hate my feet (they were the bane of my existence)

and secondly: I just didn't really "get" them... 

Needless to say, I have bigger issues than my feet now, and so instead of fighting them and feeling all down in the dumps, I've really come to appreciate them!

Even though it's still hard to find sizes that fit them (don't we all have trouble with this though? on some level? narrow feet, wide feet, small feet, large feet [I feel like Dr. Seuss now!]) 

I've stopped caring about the difficulty of it all! 

Why fight what you can't change?!

Rhinestone Shoes 

*drool* SO CUTE!I'm not usually a rhinestone kind of girl... but these are really really hot and *I think* subtle enough to be super wearable! Also, a lot of the flashier shoes tend to go too over-the-top for me and remind me of a *cough*hooker*cough* which is NOT GOOD. Anyway, these don't cross that line, and that's why I like them soo. 

Everyday Energy Heel in Green

What a darling shoe. I appreciate the great color that they made it in, and the stylish feel, with the still-stable heel.

This site is super awesome so far, it has really cute styles and their prices are INSANELY INEXPENSIVE!
I was flabbergasted when I first saw them.
So you know how usually these things are just too good to be true?
Well this one's not.
I haven't found any catches yet.
The dress above is only $8, and on select items they offer free shipping.
Because I was so skeptical about how "safe" an unbelievable site like this could be,
I checked out some reviews of it, and they're (for the most part) positive!
I'm stoked for when I make my first order, and I highly recommend that you gals check out this site too!

Thursday Gloom

Hobbies are interesting things, i have a few very select hobbies. and they're all anti-social

*shock* I know...

But anyway, I've been trying to figure out more hobbies to cultivate due to my very dialed-in interests.

Favorites Friday is SHOE-Tastic!

Hello love, Today I'm giving a special Shoes edition of Favorites Friday.

I have gathered pictures of shoes for a while now, and I think it's time to show you what I love!

Tapestry Shoes



 They're so ugly-fied that they're pretty.

PRETTY BRILLIANT!

I can just see them with a below the knee skirt in muted colors and a wispy blouse on top.

They're so summer-in-old-England to me,

that I love them.

No matter what people could say. :-)

So shiny... So pretty.

So vintage inspired that I could die!

They're fab.

Really wonderful colors that could go with anything,

and a sensible enough looking shoe to be appropriate for anything!



Bowed Wedges



 These shoes (above) I could wear with about EVERY outfit I currently own.

Really! They're great! They have flair, are classy and look like they could go all day!

Booties



These are the kind of shoe that I would love to wear, but doubt that I could make the transition into.

I have broken the barrier half way by buying myself a pair of oxfords, but these are a whole new level for me.

I feel like they require skinny jeans.

and I have yet to breach that barrier. :-[

Maybe soon.

We'll see.

It'll all apart of my "young and empowered" stance in life.

I am on the edge of my twenties! not my sixties!

So why the heck shouldn't I join in some trends?!

I always tell myself that "when I loose the weight... I'll do this.. I'll do that"... but

will that ever happen?

I don't know.

I have yet to see it.

Velvet Heels



I would DIE from pure joy if I ever got these heels. They're beyond beautiful. Beyond. They're exactly perfect for my style and my purple-loving wardrobe. I would wear them every chance I got, even though at 5'10" they would make me TOWER over people at an impressive 6'3".

AND...
